Lip blush

Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup technique designed to enhance the color, shape and symmetry of the lips and create the appearance of fuller lips. The density and saturation of the color can vary depending on the initial condition of the lips and the client’s wishes.

Permanent lip blush is a must for you if:

  • You want to hide imperfections, correct slight asymmetry, or slightly change the shape of your lips.
  • You want to always look impeccable: at home, at work, at the gym, or on vacation.
  • Your lips have become dull and the contour is blurred.
  • You have Fordyce spots (granules) and want to conceal them.
  • You want to look younger, as lips can reveal our age.
  • Your lips are naturally very pale.
  • You don’t have time for makeup.
  • You are allergic to decorative cosmetics.

The master performs the procedure using a thin sterile needle/cartridge and a specialized machine.The pigment is injected into the upper layer of the dermis.

  • Refrain from consuming alcohol, caffeine and energy drinks 24 hours prior to the procedure. Avoid taking any blood thinning medications such as ibuprofen, aspirin, niacin, gingko biloba or evening primrose unless medically necessary. You can resume taking these medications immediately after the procedure. In addition, avoid sunbathing;

  • On the day of the procedure, avoid consuming stimulating drinks like coffee and avoid overly salty foods to minimize swelling;
  • Refrain from undergoing anti-aging treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser procedures, or botox injections for 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment;
  • Apply a lip mask or a thin layer of healing moisturizer ointment at night.

Failure to adhere to these instructions may result in pigment color loss.

  • On the day of the procedure, clean your lips with cotton pads and bottled water every hour, and apply a thin layer of ointment;
  • Apply a thin layer of ointment regularly for 4-5 days;

  • For a month, refrain from whitening your teeth, making injections in the lips, and visiting the solarium.
  • Avoid sunbathing or direct sun. You can use a sunscreen with SPF50 after the crusts are gone.
  • On the second day, a thin scab or crust will form. It looks like intense makeup and doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable. This will last for 3 to 7 days.
  • As the lips heal, the color will become lighter. Immediately after the disappearance of the crust, the pigment may seem very pale. This is due to the fact that your skin is now in the active regeneration stage. It takes approximately 1 month for the color to fully set in.
  • After the first treatment, the color will fade by about 20-40 percent as the lips heal.
