Brows + Lips PRO
Professional Permanent Makeup Training
This course teaches an individual approach to brows and lips, with close attention to anatomy, skin, color, technique, and healing.
Introduction
Brows + Lips PRO is a foundational permanent makeup training program designed for beginners who want to develop strong technical skills in both brow and lip procedures. The course focuses on natural results, thoughtful pigment application, and techniques that respect the skin over time.
Since 2017, Alena has taught permanent makeup to students in Russia, Europe, and the United States. The program was originally developed in collaboration with the Beauty Training & Design team, including professional educators, methodologists, illustrators, designers, and business consultants.
What You Will Learn
The course combines structured theory, guided exercises, and practical work under Alena’s direct supervision.
The program covers:
- Skin structure, skin types, and healing
- Brow and lip anatomy
- Brow mapping and lip shape design
- Color theory and pigment selection
- Permanent makeup machine fundamentals
- Needle configurations and equipment
- Brow shading and lip blush techniques
- Pigment implantation and skin response
- Client consultation and contraindications
- Procedure preparation, hygiene, and aftercare
- Photography and portfolio presentation
- Client workflow and the foundations of organizing your services
The focus is not only on completing a procedure, but on understanding how each technical decision affects the healed result.
Practical Training
Students begin with step-by-step exercises and practice on latex and training materials before progressing to live models.
During practical sessions, Alena demonstrates each stage of the procedure and provides individual feedback on hand movement, pressure, depth, speed, pigment choice, shape, and overall technique.
Classes are kept small so that every student receives close supervision during hands-on work.
Learning Materials
Students receive structured educational materials designed to support both classroom learning and independent practice.
Materials may include:
- Detailed course workbook
- Illustrated guides
- Step-by-step exercises
- Procedure protocols
- Practice assignments
- Equipment and supply guidance
These materials can also be used as a reference after the training is complete.
Training Formats
Private 1:1 Training
Individual training with Alena, adapted to the student’s experience, pace, and technical needs.
This format provides the highest level of personal guidance throughout theory, practice exercises, and live model work.
Mini Group Training
In-person training in a small group of up to three students.
Students follow the full Brows + Lips PRO program while receiving individual feedback and supervision during every practical stage.
Hybrid Training
Online theory followed by two days of in-person practical training in New York.
Students complete the theoretical portion and preparatory exercises before arriving for focused hands-on practice, technique correction, demonstrations, and live model work with Alena.
Course Completion
After successfully completing the required theory and practical work, students receive a certificate of completion.
The purpose of the course is to provide a strong professional foundation that students can continue developing through practice, observation, and experience with different skin types and clients.
